Glemham Underwriting continue technology transformation

Glemham Underwriting, the Managing General Agent specialising in Property, Liability and PI insurance have implemented the second phase of their transformation programme. They are delighted with the development of their digital capabilities in this second phase. Glemham Underwriting are especially pleased with their positive partnership with the specialist insurance software company Total Systems. It is noteworthy that they successfully delivered this extensive project despite the restrictions imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This phase introduced major enhancements that embedded further automation and sophisticated workflows into the business operation. This, in addition to enhanced risk profiling, optimises the new business application process. This not only delivers improved levels of service for customers, but also increases the business efficiency for Glemham.

John Cross, Managing Director at Glemham says: “Given the amount of change we’ve asked for, the speed and accuracy at which it has been delivered is impressive. These unprecedented times have underlined the need to be able to react quickly to changing market conditions. It has also highlighted the need to provide our customers with digital solutions. Total Systems have continued to deliver on both fronts”

Rhys Collins, Director of Business Development at Total Systems, commented: “We are delighted with the way the two teams have collaborated. The results speak for themselves”.

The Insurance Insider published the MGA Review 2019 just over twelve months ago. In it they predicted “The MGAs of the future need to be leaner, more cost-effective and tech-enabled”. There is no doubt this is more true than ever.
